Need a replacement gasser

Hello good Q'rs!!! I am still undecided as to what will replace my trusty old and rusting Weber Spirit E 310. I have posted asking about Napoleon vs Broil King ... can't pull the trigger on either!! It's either a Blackstone griddle, ($229 @ my local BJ's for the four burner), or ... do Weber Genesis ever go on sale??? Spirits are discounted $50 everywhere, but nothing on Genesis. :dont: Any thoughts? Thanks all!!!!

I absolutely love my Blackstone …BUT, I also have a Weber Kettle to grill on and a dedicated smoker.

If you go griddle route do you have anything to actually grill on? If not you might want to get a grill and add a griddle top or get a Blackstone down the road. Just my $.02.

Yes bsooner75, I have a Kamado Joe Classic and a 22.5' Weber Performer, which I use the most! After adding a griddle top which I use on the Spirit and the Performer, (Nordic something or other, $20 at Costco), I discovered I much rather throw burgers on the griddle than the grill. It is also so much fun to cook Sunday breakfast outdoors while enjoying a good bloody Mary!!! I guess I have answered my own question. Thank you partners! Let's see how I get one home ... no delivery or pick up truck ... not even SUV, tough to fit in a car. Thanks for your input!
Hit them straight!! :chef:

Oh, btw..
Make sure you take it out of the box before you try to move it to a second floor if that's where it's going.
The griddle top alone weighs as much as a Volkswagen Beetle.....

Horrible news!! My local Home Creepo has a Weber Genesis 2 six burner grill for $899 ... typically a $1299 grill. It is more than I need ... but for that price ... even the wife says go get it!!! Hard to pass!!!

Well, I can't make a decision since I retired ... ( 40 years running operations as a Manager / Director takes it out of you), so my wife made an executive decision although she consulted me. She is a program manager for a very large company which happens to treat their employees very well. Through merits, upper management recognition and such, she was awarded a catalogue to pick anything she wanted. She chose a four burner stainless steel Weber Genesis 2 LX!!! :happ: Stainless everything, individual starters for all burners ... geez, I guess a Mercedes of grills :chef: I guess sometimes it pays off not to be able to make a decision :banghead: It shipped last Thursday so I guess it will be here within a week or so. After we put it together I will post pics ... man, do I have a great wife or what?
