First official cook on new Daniel Boone

Postby bogiedr » Sat May 23, 2020 6:10 am

6:50 am, 9 lbs brisket, 225 for the first 8 hours, then 250 final 2 hours wrapped. Used Killer Hogs rub with a healthy dusting of High Octane rub, available locally at The Heights Meat market. Will post again later this evening. :chef:

Here is the final Results ... what do you think. Doing St. Louis style ribs tomorrow. KJ firebox delivered late last night, considering using the Joe, but tempted to go with the Boone. Will post!
