Hey everyone.
I’m new to the pellet grill game and just got my Traegar Pro Series 34 grill and just did my first burn / grill seasoning.
Everything went well however I noticed that when the seasoning was done and I opened the lid there was some pellet ash on the top and sides and I just feel like that would get all over the food - wouldn’t it?
Here’s a picture. Please let me know your thoughts and if I have anything to be worried about.
Pellet Ash coming up after first burn in/seasoning?

I don't see this as a problem and I figure that even with Charcoal and Sticks, we probably all have ingested a certain amount of ash over the years. Looking forward to see other takes on this as well.

Don't worry about it, it tastes just like BBQ.....
No matter the wood sourced heat source there is going to be some fly ash if you look on the pellet bag it will likely say how much to expect.
The number will be very low since it is a percentage by weight and we are weighing what(?) fly ash......

Thanks for the replies guys. I figured it wasn’t anything to worry about but wanted to see if you guys experience similar things or if it’s the norm in the pellet world.
