New Pellet Smoker

Postby JDB » Tue Jun 18, 2019 5:34 pm

I'm looking for a new pellet smoker. Right now I have a Members Mark that I picked up from Sams Club. Not a bad smoker for the $$ but I want to move up to a more advanced smoker.
I looked at the Grilla Silverbac which I really like. I also looked at the Rec Tec which seemed nice as well.
Did a lot of research here (great source of info!!) before I looked these up. Pit Boss is in the running as well, didn't really like the Yoder.

Thoughts or any other suggestions on an upgrade?

I've only used one, but I'm very happy with it. Camp Chef Woodwind. Easy to use, not a single problem in a year.

I've got a CampChef 24 and it works well, now more than a year old and at least 20 cooks in and it hums right along.

I've had my Camp Chef Smokepro DLX for two years now and the only problem was the controller started going bad. it would just shut down right after going through the start up cycle. One phone call to Camp Chef and explained what it was doing had another delivered in three days. A no questions asked 3 year warranty and the ash clean out is what sold me.
