My first Reeb attempt on my Pellet Pooper.

Postby CigarCamshaft » Wed Jan 23, 2019 10:22 am

I went ahead and burned in my new rig and bought some St. Louis style reebs to giv'er the initial test run. I think they came out just right for my first shot at using this style smoker. I used an off the shelf rub and Pitboss Competition blend pellets. I think my phone camera made the ribs look pinker than they were to the eye because they were most definitely done.

Pretty darn good, but I think I'll do better next time now that I have some practice time on this smoker.

Did you get that smoker on the recent WalMart deal? They dropped them to a little over $100 at some stores according to Brick Seek.

I got mine on the first clearance price drop at 199.99, had to drive to Houston to find one. Was definitely worth the drive and search, the inventory on Brickseek's website isn't very accurate at all.

I’ve heard that. Sounds like you got a pretty good deal anyway.
