Pork Roast Last Night!

Postby rms827 » Tue May 15, 2018 4:09 am

FINALLY! The Rock has come back... oh never mind, LOL. Feels like forever since I've posted any food pics though.

Last night I did a pork tenderloin for dinner. Slow cooked it at 190 n the Rec Tec till about 110, then cranked it up to 250 until the meat's IT hit 145. I'm always careful about not undercooking pork, despite it becoming trendy on the Food Network

And here we go with it sliced:

Seasoning was a mix of SPG with a little cajun seasoning added to give it some pizzazz. I'm pretty happy with the smoke ring I was able to get.

Looks awesome.

Smoke ring on a pork tenderloin = lipstick on a pig?
