New Treager Control Board Not Shutting off Auger

Have had my Treager for about 9 years now. For a few years the unit would not get hot enough. Sometimes the smoke would not work so today I replaced the control board with a new updated version. Now the grill gets so hot that the auger keeps turning with no stopping. Do you think it's a bad board? Thank you.

I have heard of this happening before where the board was replaced. What happened was the plugs for the fan and auger got swapped by mistake (or bad color coding) so the fan ran intermittently and the auger ran continuously.
Check that out and see if the board is marked where the wires connect.
The plugs:
Fan (orange) on continuously
Igniter (purple) on for 4 minutes then off
Auger (red) on for the first 4 minutes then intermittently depending on the setting.
