purists axe and sawn wood logs... lazy cooks FedEx delivered sawdust compacted logs(little logs at that )
a debate that will rage on and on...
I use my pellet cookers and the benefits outweigh the costs and losses in my opinion
what ever you choose just be sure and post pictures
oh yeah some day i'm gonna get me a drum

this was the deal I got at Woot
mine was last year's model without the chimney
it works great
no complaints
and delivered to my door for $320 with shipping
unfortunately Woot is sold out at this time
they ran the special two times this spring
sign up for Woot and you'll know when the specials are coming
http://tools.woot.com/offers/camp-chef-pellet-grill
and the same pellet cooker on the CampChef site
it's $499 retail

Re: Traeger Pellet Smoker Pro/Cons
Have cooked on both types of cookers. Love the Weber WSM, and probably always will. The good news about Traeger is they have been bought by a group in Utah that is trying to turn the company around. With that being said, if you want to invest in a Treager, purchase a pro model. The ones at the hardware stores, Lowes, Home Depot, etc., are not the pro models. They are left over from the old company, and have been experiencing about a 35% failure rate. The pro models are a new model with much needed changes. My two cents
