Anyone use a Bayou Classic cypress ceramic grill?

Postby atcNick » Wed Dec 09, 2009 10:35 am

Any of you guys ever use one of these? Any reviews would be appreciated. My wife and her coworkers are wanting to buy the boss one of these. I want to make sure this is a quality product so they dont all get fired! hehe.

I've never even heard of it before now. Not knowing anything about this particular grill and if this is an important purchase, as you mention it may be, then I would probably opt for a Big Green Egg which is most likely in the same price range. The BGE is a known quantity and has tons of accessories available and would be the safe bet IMO.

Looks like they already bought it. I hope its a good one. The hardware looks very similar as the bge from what I can tell. Found the manufacturer's online catalog: http://www.thebayou.com/Pages/Print_fil ... 009_02.swf

I never seen one in person. But if they are anything like a BGE or Primo I'm sure it will provide years of good Q.
