Been craving some Chili and Pizza the past few nights with all of the excellent posts.
Decided to fry up some local smoked bacon and then fry a few Chicken Breasts up in the bacon fat and then dusted it with some roasted Parmesan seasoning from the cupboard.
Sliced em up crossways and added them to some Plain NAAN bread.
Added some Ranch Dressing first, then the Bacon & Chicken Breasts, the seasoning and some Shredded Mozzarella.
More seasoning and a little more Ranch Dressing and onto the Akorn Smoking/Pizza Stone at 500 for about 9 or so minutes.
Plain NAANs for the wife and son.
Playing a little spooky Halloween music and having a few Blue Moons on my lawn chair in the garage.
It's in the 40's but feels great.

I've never tried frying chicken in bacon fat before the other night.spacetrucker wrote:chicken fried in bacon fat topped with molten cheese? whats not to like... that looks fabulous
It's so good, we are actually having a " Lighter " dinner tonight with a grilled chicken salad.
I lightly fried up the breasts and got them all coated up, then put them on the 500 degree grates after the NAANs and stone came off.
Test piece was super moist so I guess we will see later tonight how it goes with the Rabbit Food.

I would say that rabbit food drizzled with bacon grease.... well ya know!!
that is just original home style cooking, pre Crisco, and all the other corporate inventions... which in my opinion is a lot of todays health problems, but that is my .02¢ opinion
