For all you Pot de Fleurs types, here is yer dream kooker once you win the lottery....comes in multiple eye-peeling colors, with GLEAMING chromium steel trim...krank up yer 'ol Droolometer. Just make sure you have a reinforced foundation, the Big Bad unit tips the scales at an eye-popping 954 pounds, fully dressed out in the Class A uniform. I think in years past, there may have been some quality control issues I read about (do yer own research) but the proliferation illustrated on the website implies they overcame that. And it's a great time out space for the kids if they are overly rambunctious for the wife one day.

There's also a link to coconut shell charcoal, which was a recent topic of conversation here on the 'ol TBBQF a while back.

Saw one while walking along a beach in California. Understand they had issues with the tiles popping off but this one looked okay. Heavy and expensive.

Naked Whiz has a review of the coconut charcoal on his site. Not good.

Man I sure wish George would make a Primo even close to that size! I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Otherwise, I love my XL!

I had one of the Kamado's from California....total junk. Was supposed to be made of a refractory material but he was using Portland cement!! Got rid of it and I now own a Komodo Kamado. The Komodo Kamado is a fantastic cooker...very well built and the owner of the company is an honest guy who loves BBQ.

Here is my "Blue Beauty":

This post highlights misunderstandings about these Tiled Kamados.
Just wanted to point out there are two companies that build and built tiled Kamado Grills.

The first company was run by Richard Johnson and was Kamado.com. This company had a terrible reputation and produced poor quality grills (tiles fall off) and charcoal. (Both companies built grills at different times in Indonesia) More info http://kamadofraudforum.org

The second company is run by Dennis Linkletter who is based in Bali Indonesia runs KamadoKamado.com his grills are ultra high quality and priced accordingly. He has an excellent reputation for his customer service.
His Komodo Coconut charcoal has the highest marks on The Naked Whiz review site http://www.nakedwhiz.com/lumpdatabase/lumpbag81.htm

The companies are not related in any way outside of the fact Dennis hired Richard's employees after Rj was chased out of Indonesia 12 years ago.

that would be
www.komodokamado.com

and yes, Dennis IS indeed Art's grandson.(Jack was his daddy)
Top of the line flowerpots, indeed, and the best charcoal going to fuel them.
He is also a purveyor of fine teak wood products, if the need arises.
