Highly recommended you check out the website pictures; our own Egghead is amongst the luminaries therein.
While I am not an "egg" guy per se, I am a respectful fan of the "green egg cult" (funny, sounds like a '70's rock band), and would also point out that Salado is one of the coolest, prettiest little towns in Texas. Great location for a cookoff, and an easy drive in from Austin or DFW (be sure to hit the Village Bakery in old downtown West on the way down for some of the best kolaches and klobasniky in the state).

The Inn on the Creek is now sold out. I do not see any rooms opening up but if you would like to be on a waiting list send me your info and will send over to the Inn for first come first serve.
