Blazaball

I've seen Blazaball fire starters in videos for a while, and I finally decided to get one and try it out.

Verdict: I don't know why I waited so long to get one. Just add the Tumbleweeds, set the ball at the bottom of the fire box, light, and cover it with the charcoal.

The coals lit much faster and more evenly than my usual way of cramming Tumbleweeds into the coals.

Its a keeper.

Nope. The Tumbleweed starters are paraffin soaked wood shavings. They burn down to nothing.

The Blazaball is stainless steel. You just leave it in the coals for the cook.
