Apple Smoked Ribs & Cornbread For Gramma

Postby The Pocono Ring Shop » Wed Nov 30, 2022 4:52 pm

Spending lots of time having Mom up for a week. Tonight we're doing homemade Sweet Cornbread along with Apple Smoked Spares and Babybacks. Had to improvise with the rain and wind but I will win this test.
2 hrs is, ready to wrap for another 2 or so before I finish them off unwrapped for the last hour or so.
Probably gonna be another late-night dinner as usual so I'll post finished pics around 8 or so my time.

Have a good night everyone ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Well, almost there. Another 30 minutes or so and I'll hit them with some liquid Bourbon and brown sugar and Molasses.ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Beautiful, well done sir. Cornbread looks as good as what Parts produces. That rascal is a cornbread master.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kindness. As for Emm, I think he will always be the undisputed Cornbread King. I've seen plenty of posts over the years and have always admired his. I'm just happy it turned out like it did. I think having Grandma doing the majority of the Cornbread recipe and the folding in the egg whites part saved the day. If it was me, my " folding " skills or lack of would have surely sunk the results .
