You will love it. I’ve had my 20x42 a few weeks now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Make sure you follow all of the seasoning instructions. They will give you an easy to follow one page guide

ARE YOU COOKING WITH WATER IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SMOKER? I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL YOUTUBE VIDEOS WHERE GUYS ARE DOING THIS ON THE NEW 20" SERIES LSG COOKERS. I'M VERY CURIOUS ABOUT HOW WELL OWNERS LIKE THIS FEATURE.

Re: LSG 20” Offset
Nope - I did put some water in it after my last cook to steam clean it but that’s it. No intention of running water at least not at this time

Re: LSG 20” Offset
I do all the time. I leave a bucket, probably 2 gallon size or so under the drain. This bucket is what I use to add hot water to the smoke chamber and when I'm done cooking, I open the drain and let the water and grease drain away. As the pit cools off the it dries. I use a wide putty knife of I have to scrap anything out. Then every once in a while I'll spray the inside with Pam to prevent rust.
Love this 20 inch series pit.

I have the 20 x 42, it is the best built smoker I have ever seen, just bought the bigger one, I figure better to have the room, and not use it, than need more room and not have it
