First offset Smoker

Postby fxs6383 » Thu Jun 20, 2019 3:30 pm

Hello all,

Recent new member who just joined today. I noticed this section so thought I share my first offset smoker I recently got for my birthday. So far i have smoked a pork butt and some spare ribs in which they both came out great, however I will admit this pit is a learning curve though, but she is a keeper. Looking forward to future smoking!

If you don't mind me asking? How much did he charge for that? I recently moved to the Valley, and am really close to him.

Apologize on the late reply - this one was starting at $1650

Thanks, and all good. That sounds about average for that setup. One of these days I will get to checking them out.

Sorry to quote myself itt, but this guy is very difficult to find, but very friendly and helpful. He will be who I purchase from. If you happen to be in the RGV I reccomend checking him out, but call first because you won't find him if you don't.

Right on - I have has his number in case you need to reach him. I just recently passed by the shop to pick up some expanded metal.

Please share the pit once you get it built!
