Hello everyone!

Bought this grill recently, have sealed the gaps with the RTV, lid gaskets on the way.

I noticed a half moon cutout in between the smoking chamber and the propane side. Do I need to cover this hole? Looks like there is screw hole. Is this for a baffle?

Simply a guess on my part but I'd leave it open unless I found a specific reason to close it up.
