Has anyone ever tried smoked coffee? Anyone have any ideas on how to smoke coffee?

I have never heard of that but I think you would want to smoke the whole beans, then grind...

I would agree. What I do know. Once roasted the best time to introduce flavorings is while the bean is cooled but still a little warm. This allows flavor so to get in before the pores close back up. I may have to experiment with cold smoke vs hot smoke. You don't want to roast it more trying to smoke it. I was just thinking a hickory smoked coffee bean might make a good cup of coffee.
