New to smoking, best smoker?

Just getting into smoking and bbqing. I am looking for a good quality smoker. I like the buid of the gator budget pit. 40x20 with a wood box. I know it is a little expensive, just don't want to not spend the money and not get quality. What's the best smokers out there?
