What size pit do I need ...

All - I'm new to the forum - moved to San Antonio about four years ago. Tasted my first Texas brisket never want to leave again -
So I have three rigs on my deck: Weber Performer, Primo jr and a WSM 22. I like them all, each is good for different things but I have always wanted an offset firebox smoker ...
My kids are grown so I don't need a large rig, but I'd like to get something that would allow me to try my hand at competing one day if there's a good opportunity.
Been looking at 20x40 offset but the lonestar grillz cabnet with heating component looks awefully good and the only other brand I've seen a warming cabnet on is a lang (great, but not from Texas ...).
Can anyone recommend a good size for entry level competition that fits on my deck (less than 36-wide so I can get it through the house and onto the deck?)
