Firebox Door Gasket
I have a Bandit model Gator pit with a insulated firebox and i'm having trouble getting the gasket to stay stuck to the door opening, I'm using 1/2 inch rope gasket and adhesive from our local fireplace and woodstove supplier, It will stay on for one cooking session and then it just falls off, I am cleaning the gasket surface well before installing, Wondering if there are other adhesives out there that might hold better, Thanks

mark...we use th self peircing s/s screws....they work greatvand do well against th heat
