Chicken Man!!!

If you go with one like I made for Bristow, go ahead and make 6 exhausts, but you might buy a couple of plugs just in case. He said it ran a little hot and had to put paper towels in a couple of them. But, better too much and cap it than not enough and need it.

Make a hanger for the lid.

Put handles at the top and bottom of the barrel for easier dumping of the ashes.

In fact, mount some sort of tray under the coal basket to catch the ash that lifts out with it.

Good luck!

If you get all of the parts and stuff you need and get the tools laid out building one should only take you about an hour. If you need guidance there are several of us here on the forum who would gladly come over and assist. In other words, we will come over drink your beer and tell you what your doing wrong. If you need that type of help, let us know!
