Where did you find the plans for the smoker at. What size steel did you go with.

The 3rd or 4th pic is of one I saw on the net, and I just decided on the size I wanted, and I designed it myself. I Took ideas from many builders and added the ones I liked to mine.

Bluz, ya'll did an awesome job with Matilda.Great job with the design and all the welding.
A man and his pit is a beautiful thing.

This just makes me want to build my own that much more. BTW, that is a sweet looking pit dude! Is this something you cook with on a regular basis? Use it for business? Or the best reason, just have it because you WANT it!!! :wink: Again, great looking rig. You ought to be proud.

There are some future motives in this build, but wanted my dream pit and did it. After seeing it cook the first time, once I get familiar with her its gonna be a beatiful thang. She did awesome on the first cook, and cant wait to load her again.

Yeah that's pretty much an ideal setup and you, Cory, and Brandon shouldn't be able to wear that thing out.
