My Pit I cook on....

Postby Southern Pride BBQ » Thu May 28, 2009 7:56 pm

I got this pit about two months ago....a guy in Lorena, tx made it for me. Temp is about 20 degrees different from firebox to stack, so pretty darn even.

Good looking pit. By your Handle I figured you had one of those high dollar gas fired Southern Pride commercial pits. Think I like yours better.

Dat... interesting you said that, because I used to work at a BBQ resturant and thats what he used, therefore I stared at it all night long. So when I started competition cooking thats the name that came to mind first.

I dont have the measurements right off hand, if my memory remebers its something around 26'' x 24'' ? its really too big, but heck always bigger than better. As far as Redneck, I dont believe I havent been to a cookoff where WE didnt give each other heck all weekend !!!
