Well, this smoker belongs to a good friend of mine. He saw it on the side of the road a few years back in somebody's "pile of junk" and pulled in and offered them penny's on the dollar for it. It was a rust bucket, but he is a guy who likes to own "unique' things. Well, when he bought it, it was in really sad, rusty shape. A group of guys got together on the weekends for a few months and got her back in good shape. It was sandblasted, painted, new grates built for it and a new motor put on the rotisserie. I think it has been cooked on once or twice since then, and then forgotten about once again. It's such a unique smoker, I just hate to see it deteriorate again. The thing is so heavy that it takes a tractor to move it. It has never even made it to my friends house who bought it. It's sitting now at my dad's house where it was originally brought to be fixed up. Anyhow, I was out there today and had my camera, so I thought I would snap a few pics and share with you guys.
The circular grate inside is slowly turned by a chain driven motor

WOW!!! That gives me some great ideas for a new grill for chicken and steaks, and what not. I think I will save those pics and maybe do some duplication. I have a very small trailer that something like that would be great to pull somewhere to do Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. That is a really nice score there.

If he ever wants to rid himself of it, he can "recycle" it amongst my yard art. No problem, I won't even charge him a "fee"
