thanks you all... i ordered some tel trus that are gonna be here soon i hope, and i should be finishing it up today..... has anyone had any expierience with the rustoleum bbq paint in the quart not the aresol....... i am thinking of using like an automotive spray gun but i dont know if thinning it out will make it not as durable

and yes i loved those handles thanks for the link....

well me and my buddy/boss got the table done and i did a little bit of cleaning..... all thats left is the exhaust and PAINT....
has anyone ever painted with the rustoleum thinned out with mineral spirits in a automotive spray gun type painter.

I've never used rustoleum on a smoker. I've always used automotive engine high temp paint or high temp stove paint, both of which works good.

Man thats sweet !!

I really like the expanded metal shelf !! I just inherited a buddies old smoker (that doesnt have a shelf of any kind) and I think I will try and do something similar to yours !!

I used a cheap analog dial instant probe therm (kinda like this http://www.chefsresource.com/taylor-ana ... meter.html" target="_blank) from Walmart for several years. I think it was $3 by the grilling accessories. It's a cheap alternative until you decide or can afford what you really want.
