Quick Reply Feature added

We added the Quick Reply feature to the board, it's loctaed right next to the Reply button.

When I click on a thread, it starts to load up with the quick reply box, then it disappears and I have to hit the quick reply button to get the box back. Is that the way this one is suposed to work, or should the QR box stay loaded when you click into a thread?

The reason I ask is, because you still have to click 'back' 3 times to get where you were vs once with a true QR.

Mike - which color are you using, Red BBQ or Blue BBQ?

Blue. As soon as I click into a thread, I see the reply box at the bottom, then it disapears.

I'm on the blue screen now and it's not doing that for me.

Mike, on the lower left hand side of the main index page there is a link that says "delete all board cookies", with all the updates being done you may need to do that and let the forum re-acquire new cookies that it needs to run right. Just a thought, I did this and things are running smoother for me.

Gator, is there a way to configure the quick reply to automatically place the reply box without having to click the toggle button to turn it on. That is why it takes 2 "back" clicks to get back to where you were.

Bowhunter, I see see it also and I have the red setting.

I think it is dealing with the network and not the software. It is downloading the screen and the command to hide it is the last part of the download. On another forum I am on, they move to a more powerful server the is a heck farther then old one and I now see the down loading of the extra smilings on the "more smileys" screen, before it was instant.

I have no issues with the QR it works just like Gator described. One click.

I was watching mine and I think I saw it happen...it looks like a loading issue. I will check and see if there is a way to have it show up upon first load.
