Stubb's Charcoal

Postby jlabolt » Sat Feb 28, 2009 6:39 pm

Walking around Lowe's today and saw they are carrying a new brand of charcoal. I've used Stubb's bbq sauce and find it to be pretty decent. Didn't know they had ventured into the charcoal market. Anyone used this product? If so, what kind of results have you seen?

It's distributed and made by the same company that makes Cowboy Lump Charcoal. Let us know how it works.

Waiting on the review as well. I saw the Stumps in Lowe's last week, but thought the price was pretty steep...

It it's made by Cowboy..... . I hope it is better than their lump which just plain sucks. Just my $2.00 (adjusting for the on coming inflation)

Price seemed high to me also. Was $8.49 for a 15 pound bag.

Here's a couple pics of a bag of Stubb's charcoal. I got the pics from a friend.

The part about the veg binder and no coal, sawdust or limestone binders sounds good.

Note how they recommend starting a fire. Lighter Fluid.
