Hey b.read.....I bought some apple wood in your area back in July when I went on vacation to San Antonio. I stopped at Cabellas in Buda, Texas right on I-35 and bought two bags of apple wood there. I can't find it here, so I snatched some up when I saw it. I wish I had bought more...

Toby, I found some apple at Cabelas in Ft. Worth.

B.Read, you might also try Academy but they are hit and miss on it. I am positive that I have seen it there before.

My local Academy only carries pecan, hickory & mesquite. Good luck on your search!
