seasoned smoker grill did well

Postby hapyjak » Sat Sep 20, 2008 5:25 pm

just got through seasoning the new smoker/grill. did some barbacoa the last night of the season in a dutch oven. then today did some marinated country style pork ribs, chicken breasts, brats and some burgers. ment to get som pics of the grub, but by the time the dust settled their was nothing left to take a picture of except a knife, a spatula, a pair of gloves and empty racks. i grilled over charcoal and was quite pleased with the burn. ready for the church social next week.

Sounds like she's right up to speed and the Church social will be nothing short of a memorable event!! Best wishes for years of continued service!

Good looking pit! That will hold lots of good grub.
What kind of pooches do you have with you in your avatar?

I can't help myself! I just gotta ask.

Hapyjak, is that an anhydrous tank you built your pit from?

Thanks, I've often wondered if one would work for a pit. Great looking rig you have there.
