Thanks and, Yup, she cleaned up pretty good....no pits in the steel, just surface rust.. big rack is 65"x46", so it should be able to hold a cpl 100 pounders at a time if necessary.... Comes up to temp in a heartbeat and is easy to maintain the fire as you can spread it out pretty easily. With a 6' long fb, I'm hoping lump lit on one end should equate to a pretty long burn time plus it does not take a lot of fuel to get up to 300* or so. Primary use will be to free up the big pit when catering, especially chicken and ribs. Not the prettiest fer sure, but should be pretty functional. The best part is, the first hog cooked on it will pay for it and leave a little jingle in the pocket..that thought makes me :D
Now I just need to learn how to cook a hog :lol:
