Your missing a few options. As in the other poll, I use lump and briquettes in the WSM, Kettles and UDSs... Also use it to get my offsets going and then switch to wood only.

In the WSM, and kettle, I use lump and briquette mix with a few wood chunks added.

In the grills I use lump and some wood chunks. In the smoker I use a mix of lump and briquettes with wood chunks most of the time. If I'm smoking chicken or turkey or doing a shorter high temp smoke then I'll use straight lump with wood chunks. :D

I've gone exclusively lump. It works for grilling and low-n-slow in my kettle. It just doesn't seem to work quite as well for l-n-s as the briques did.

Smoke is chunks.

In my kettles, I use briqs with lump while in my offset I start with briqs/lump then add alder or apple.

For my rotissers, I start with briqs then use alder with some lumps.

In my smoker I only use wood. In my grill I use lump and wood chunk combo.
