Hello Yall,Can anyone tell me a good wood source for the DFW area? I have been buying it from my local store & I want to get a stack.THANX!!!OGB

Better call em first if you going to Big Johns. Heard a rumor he wasn't doing any bulk sales anymore. Was devoting all his resources to making the 40 lb bags like they keep out in front of Albertsons. Thats whut an old catering fella tole me anyway. That been a few months back. Wished somebody find out for sure.

On his website,all I see for sale is the bags.He has them for $12,but Albertsons has the for $10. What??????

Those times when I've had to buy wood, Arnold's Firewood in Irving had been very good to me... Be sure and specify that you want seasoned wood (if that is what you want)...

You mite check out craigslist, I found a feller out here close that had some seasond mesquite for 130.00 a half cord.
If,n it aint one thang, its anuther!

So...are you talking about "Whiskey Flats" thats now called "Wheatland"...just southwest of Fort Worth on 377?
