Custom Pit Calculation Question

Postby sinfony78 » Wed Jul 11, 2018 3:22 pm

I was entering the dimensions of my current pit into Feldon and SmokeBuilder's online calculators.
The firebox is about 90% of recommended size and the firebox-to-cook chamber is also smaller than recommended.
I also have 2 smoke stacks at 30" each, but according to the calculators, I need 1 at 36".

What I am reading is that a smaller firebox will require a little more fuel.

1) What happens with a firebox-to-cook chamber being smaller?
2) What should the smoke stack size be if there are 2?
