The last couple of weeks I've been getting reacquainted with my cinderblock smoker.
I've kinda been ignoring her the last couple of years.
I built it at least 25 years ago and it has put out many a good smoke. Shes getting along in age as am I, but it still can put out some good cue in spite of her appearance.
Yesterday I hooked up the Perfect Draft blower to the fire box for the first time. The smoker has always held temp very well once it warms up after a couple of hours, but with the blower I used only bout half the wood I would have normally used, once I got the blower dialed in it held my targeted temp of 275, give or take a few degrees, for almost 2 hours.
Test run of clucker thighs and breasts.
