My new build 20” offset

Postby GRBNGRZ » Tue Feb 06, 2018 10:41 pm

Hey guys, been work on this build for a couple of weeks off and on. I started with a 20”pipe , cc is 46” fb is 24”. I have a couple of questions. Where should I place the chimney? Up high or just above the grate in the Center, the chimney will be 5” in diameter. Also where should I place the fire box ? Should the top of the fb be in the Center of the cc , I was thinking of lowering it 3” down from Center of the cc.
Thanks for you time guys

what elbow is that you have for the chimney, that's a great idea! is it homemade? or some sort of steel gas pipe?

The smoke stack elbow is from a cut off piece from the Chrome pipe with a damper inside it

That looks great. What are the welds across the doors for?
