Just another prototype ceramic smoker

Postby Tampa Jim » Mon Dec 04, 2017 7:59 am

It took a little over 5 years to design and build my smoker.
It's all double and triple wall steel with ceramic insulation between each layer of steel..
It has a one of a kind fully adjustable reverse flow heat system and has 128 sq ft of cooking space on 16 racks.
It doesn't matter if it's cold or rainy outside .... this smoker simply doesn't care....it's that well insulated.
It holds even temperatures for hours on end..as a matter of fact the only problem is that the temperature slowly increases over the course of a cook..
It's a stick burner and it weighs nearly 10,000 lbs.
I can post pics of the outside...but may try to patent the internals one day.....and we all know how easy it is for some people to copy ... just by seeing a pic..

Truly above and beyond - - - - however, I think you need to build an equipment trailer to hook in tandem behind it that looks like a Red Caboose :dont: :laughing7:  :salut:  :laughing7:
