Barbecue Donut - Calling Tex "Quint" Toby

Postby Boots » Fri Apr 10, 2015 12:07 pm

Talk about yer talk-of-the-town bassboat. Toby, this otta be right up yer alley, you may just have use for a dingy dinghy. But there are so many things I can think of that could go wrong with this it makes me dizzy.

Now Papa Tom, don't even start thinking about the carboard box version. Bad idea from the git-go.

Turns out they must be formidably seaworthy, the Quatari Navy appears to have adopted them for military use, they just onboarded the national Skeet team, and voila! Instant battle ship. I assume from the black "scrambled egg" on his hat, the dude second from the right must be the captain. Judging from their faces, they are ecstatic about the prospect of staring down the Iranian navy in this dreadnought.

And here is the Redneck version; evidently, there is some national fad getting bigger for something called a Redneck Regatta. Proves all you needs is a coupla wood pallets, a trolling motor, and a little Yankee ingenuity to sail to exotic ports o' call. Take note of the ingenious use of the gasser, the propane bottle not only fuels the grill, it provides critical bouyancy. And it even sports a "head" in the forecastle section.

A key reason that we hope, in part, that Darwin got it right....
