Been looking for a good smoker and found this company in Georgia. Has anyone had any experience with any of their cookers and smokers. I was interested in just the smoker like the 500 gal smoker and then I started liking the Mini Beast Pro. I will be using it for mainly smoking for my new business but the extra flexibility with the Mini you get the cooker all together. How important is it to have a warmer box could I use the cooker for that purpose when I am not grilling. I will be grilling steaks and chicken for events also but not as much as pulled pork and whole chickens.Any suggestions would be really helpful. Thanks

if you're looking to get a smoker in Georgia, you might as well check out HBT welding (http://www.hbtwelding.com/#). I got their 400 reverse model a year ago. I flew up from Houston to check them out and liked what I saw. good quality metal, solid design. only drawback is their cuts aren't as clean as you would get from other places since they torch cut. however, the designs look very similar to custom pits.com's rigs. HBT may be able to beat their prices too. the best thing about HBT was the customer service. I must have called Stacey (the owner) a half dozen times in a week leading up to me placing my order. long story short, when I saw what he was doing first hand, I placed my order and picked it up the very next weekend. I believe word has gotten out and he's a lot more busy these days so you might not get that same kind of turn-around, but I am really happy with my rig and would buy the same rig again if I had a choice.
here are some pics from this weekend. I added some stained red oak planks to rest on top of the metal counters. I just like the added surface area. and the diamond stamped metal is their standard. it looks really cool.
let me know if you have any questions about the rig or HBT.
good luck.
