Howdy neighbor. You're in the right section of the blog. You might reach out and email Speed. A lot of sharp builds being chronicled here in the last year but I think his was my personal favorite. I think he's still in progress. There's another guy who's name just escapes me (sorry) that built and is now competing a nice looking red and black twin axle trailer rig. You'd know if you see it, it stands out

Let us know what you find.

I always went on the formulation that the fire box is supposed to be 20% of the size for of the cook chamber. As far as the Stack diameter, I don't know? I have adjustable slides on the stacks on the units I have to regulate output and control temp. If there's a formulation I'd love to know it.

This is a handy calculator to use!! I found it after my build, but somehow lucked out, when I plugged my numbers in after they were almost perfect. Dumb luck I guess! Good luck and ask away!!

Thanks American Cookers, Nice calculator. Looks like I've been running small for my fire boxes, with only 20%. I have one in design right now and will push the size to on 33% on the next fire box. I'll let you know the difference in performance. Thanks again
