Postby rus_bro » Thu Feb 02, 2017 9:45 am

Im going to be so official all im going to need is a whistle?

Anyway I am taking a KCBS Judging class tonight and im pretty excited about it. I am thinking of dipping into a couple competitions this year and what better way to tune flavors and style than learn what judges know.

Just thought id spread my excitement.

YEP... it was in Humble. I was offered to judge the Humble Rodeo Cookoff tomorrow, but its the wife's birthday tomorrow. Prob best to not rock that boat so early in my bbq judging career.. :)

I really enjoyed the class. BBQ judging is taken very seriously and its AMAZING how OBJECTIVE the scoring is. The bbq tasted was good and the class was informative. Looking forward to getting the opportunity to judge some competitions soon.

And there it is:
