Any Burger Cook offs out there?

We have BBQ comps, chili & steak cook offs. But I can't seem to find any burger cook offs anywhere in North Texas. Does anyone here have any info they could share?
Although I love BBQ I really love burgers!

Check out the SCA- Steak Cookoff Association. They sometimes have a burger cookoff before the steak cookoffs. I know they do one on Labor Day in Bedford and one in Azle in September.I know if you win the one in Bedford you qualify for the World Food Championship.

Thank you Limey!!! I am going to have to look into these! We love the BBQ comps but wanted another alternative.
