What brand of electric knives are the best for continual use?

I prefer my Piranha salt water.

I use a Quisanart with the bread blade

we have Debbie's parent's 70s Hamilton Beach, plug in model
great- long blade, never gets hot, a true work horse

Hands down I believe the Cuisinart is the best. We've been using one for years, and it has never hiccuped.

Thanks a lot Okie! I had a couple of different ones and the plastic gears melted down on them. Hey were some garage sale finds. I will give the Cuisinart a shot.
