New at Competition beans

Ok don't kill me here but i have a couple of questions about comp beans.
1)-Do you have to start with raw/uncooked beans (Bag type) or can you start with precooked canned beans (Like pork-N-beans).
2)-Is the standard rule of thumb that everything needs to be the size of a bean such as any meats you put in the cup, veggies etc….
3)-Any other cooking or prep restrictions?
