First sanctioned BBQ cookoff / Redneck Cooker cooking class

Postby Rscollins » Sun Apr 20, 2014 1:39 pm

For all those folks that BBQ at home and think you know how to cook competition BBQ events. Get an insight before you spend money on expensive meat and never walk. Look up Jeff Wyatt, Redneck Cooker cooking class held at the BBQ research lab in Glenn Rose, Texas

I just did my first competition BBQ at Laguna Park, Texas and I want to say 25 teams, I walked with 8th place ribs, 7th place Chicken, 6th in beans, and 2nd in desert. Still working on my Brisket....

Spend your day with Jeff it is worth it... He also sells some good rubs.
