Does anyone know where to get those bags that you put your trays in while walking to turn ins?

I'd try amazon. I've seen One person use them before, in an IBCA event, and several at the Shotgun Fred cook off. Not sure it's necessary unless the turn in is a pretty long ways from your site. It's going to set on a table once you turn it in anyway.

We use a hot food bag, kind of like a small soft-shell portable cooler except it's made like a pizza bag. We've had some pretty long walks in the cold and wind, so it's helped at times. Just our experience, certainly not a necessity for some people.

alot of people use them in the TGCBBQ events. Seems they have a slot for using heat gel pads to keep everything steamy. I do agree that by the time everything hits the final table all bets are off, but i can see where this may make a difference at table 1.

Many of them are hand-made; check out the craft shows that sometimes accompany BBQ contests.
I see our local Walmart now sells them, but a few years ago, I believe we got ours off Amazon at
http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000985471Or do a search on "insulated food carrier".
