Texas Slab- jerky, butcher, BBQ rubs and sauces store

Postby limey » Sat Mar 01, 2014 12:01 pm

Went to Texas Slab last night to pick up some jerky for our cub scout pack, small lil place on Cooper street in Mansfield. Was quite surprised, they make there own jerky there everyday, 6 different flavors. Some of the best stuff out there, they give the scouts a great discount for our fundraiser. Also they have all kinds of rubs, including the large sizes of Sucklebusters,ObieQue,TalkTexan, and several others. They also have all kinds of sauces and marinades as well. They also have great cuts of meats, bought 3 aged ribeyes 9.99lb as well as a all natural prime brisket 3.19 lb.. Great looking slabs of ribs as well. Looks like I found my new source for my comp. meats as well. Lots of BBQ goodness in this lil place, :D

Scott is the owner, great place for sure & no, he cannot ship to Canada due to the laws regarding import of meats.

Whole family works there, Scott and his family are good people. He really cuts us a deal on the cub scout jerky. His aged meats are some of the best around. On my go to list.
