We entered our second cookoff this weekend at Bass Pro to benefit Camp Allen Craig. It wasn't sanctioned but we took 8th in brisket and 9th in ribs out of 40 teams. Missed on chicken and pulled pork. We were one of few teams to get a call in multiple categories. Overall a success, and way better than the last comp where we partied a little too hard and forgot we were actually at a competition.

You were the team they couldnt get yalls name correct. Congrats! We placed 5th in ribs there. We were Pit Stains.

Brooks Boys sure stayed busy all night and day, yall sure had it together for your second comp. Good job on the calls! We were the team right behind yall, did yall get the firebox door figured out?

We had a decent showing, 4th place ribs and 7 place pulled pork. Missed on brisket, I thought for sure we'd show in that one. Chicken was a fiasco, it usually is at non sanctioned comps.

Thanks fellas! Yes that was us, not sure why it was so hard to understand Book Boys. Congrats on y'alls calls. The guy that was in charge of the ribs just started getting into smokin about 6 months ago, so he did a great job. Ya the chicken thing definitely threw us for a loop, and no we never figured out the firebox door.... Overall it was a pretty fun event and plan on going back next year.
