What brand of ribs
Usually get the 3 pack of spares from sams, but haven't been very happy with them. What brand does everyone use? I've hit on chicken, brisket, and butt. But can't even land final table on ribs. So looking to change something up.

I like the Farmland from Sam's. Lately they been carrying some brand that don't have any stamp on the Cryovac.

I've been using Albertsons ribs and actually a lot of beef there too because it's all natural (pork) and choice (beef).

That's why I like Sam's. Their pork don't have a bunch of salt water junk and their beef is all Choice. The flats lately have been National Beef CAB, picked up the 2 prettiest 6.5 lb flats I've seen a few days ago. Hopefully the one that I'll cook up Saturday will win some $$$$.

Re: What brand of ribs
The Sams ribs are good but over the last couple years you get more flap and water than ribs, not Sams fault really thats the way the packer does it to maximized profit. Add more junk meat for weight and charge premium rib price. So lately I've been buying the St. Louis style ribs from HEB and gladly pay a dollar more a pound but pay only for ribs.

Re: What brand of ribs
I will typically shop around and find the best racks possible. Usually from Sam's or HEB. Sometimes the guys at Sam's will let me cherry pick and cut the 3 packs open. I will never buy the three pack from Sam's. I want to see what I'm buying. As a last resort I'll go to Costco. As of late HEB seems to have the best product though.
