Buffalo Wings, my way
Had a late lunch which led to a late night dinner... Had some wings in the fridge, but I didn't want to fire up a cooker so I hit the switch on the deep fryer and decided on somewhat traditional buffalo wings.
Didn't think to take any pics until I had already cut the wings into sections and put them in the fryer.
Looks like it's about time to change the oil
Made the wing sauce out of a bit of real butter, Sucklebusters Cajun Pepper Sauce a some Franks.
wings out of fryer and into bowl
Add a bit of the sauce and toss
Ready for some munching... Maybe not glamorous, but quick and good eats!

Those really are some great looking wings. I'm way past due for doing some of them on the grill. Got to put them on the list to do soon.

Those look great, James! I love me some wangs. Have you ever tried smo-fried? Smoke them for about an hour and then finish off in the fryer. Good eatin' right there, my friend.

So I've heard I still haven't had a chance to try that yet.

Yeppers, I like my wings crispy, so I was doing the fry after smoke thing long before I knew they had a name for it. Works with whole chickens and turkeys too.

Hadn't heard of anyone doing that with whole chickens or turkeys, but it's something I've long suspected would be good. Glad to hear someone has done that.
